GOSH Velodrome Challenge
We are delighted to have supported the 2021 Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Velodrome Challenge again this year.
This year, The Velodrome Challenge raised an amazing £230,000 towards the Gordon and Tana Ramsay Foundation and will be directly funding children’s cancer care at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Cancer is the biggest killer of children aged five to fourteen in the UK. The monies raised will help to fund pioneering research to discover kinder and safer treatments, the refurbishment of wards and medical facilities, medical technology and equipment upgrades and vital welfare services for patients and families during their time at GOSH.
In October 2015, The Gordon and Tana Ramsay Foundation announced their partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH). The centre will be called the Gordon & Tana Ramsey Cancer Centre; ‘Each year GOSH receives more than 255,000 patient visits from across the UK. The Gordon and Tana Ramsay Foundation will raise funds to help the hospital provide world-class care for young patients and their families. This includes pioneering new treatments, providing cutting edge equipment and supporting the redevelopment of the hospital to provide state-of-the-art facilities to match the hospital’s world-class care. Their support will also help to provide new accommodation for parents and families of children being treated so they can be close to their child when they need it most.’
